BREAKING: ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL IN SINGAPORE RUMOURED TO BE IN TROUBLE

Updated: Jun 4, 2019

A widely circulating rumour based off a screenshot of a text on Ultra Music Festival Singapore's Owner and his misdeeds has been circulating around group chats revolving around nightlife and entertainment in Singapore.

UMFSG has been one of the most successful festivals in Singapore's Dance Music History and aimed to bring many of the largest acts such this year such as Skrillex, Porter Robinson and Martin Garrix.

Allegations of not paying vendors as well as changing the venue has been made in the post.

As of the writing of this article no official statement has been made however through a quick interview with Pioneer DJ Singapore, they have stated that despite the situation Pioneer DJ Singapore will maintain it's support of Ultra Music Festival Singapore 2019 and that the DJs they work with such as DJ Yamato from Japan are eager to come to Singapore to perform for fans there.

We hope that all fans of this event out there will hold on and wait for an official response before spreading any false rumours to stop any needless speculation that might affect the event this weekend.

We here at Asia DJ Magazine have Ultra Music Festival Singapore in our prayers and we hope that this monumental event will still happen this weekend. We are in full support of the Ultra Music Festival Singapore team.

We will update on all news UMFSG 2019 as it happens.
