We sit down with the 10 contestants who are going to go head to head at Pinball Wizard for Mix Us Happy 2019 in Singapore.
Here's our interview with YOUNG SLIME
ADM: How do you feel learning from MUH?
YS: I feel that from learning through MUH I learnt from professionals how to mix and it has really helped me in my learning of the mixing songs as a DJ. They teach personal stuff like the things they do to introduce themselves not only through DJ equipment but also helped me in building a persona and presence on stage l. All in all, I feel very grateful and thankful to join MUH and be part of their programme and family.
ADM: What can we expect in the finals?
YS: For the Finals you will expect the unexpected. What Young Slime is known for will be shown in the finals and a big crowd going hard dancing, hell even moshing of sorts taking place.
ADM: What do you feel now about DJing
YS: How I feel now about being a DJ has never changed. The physical feeling however has, I feel I can contribute something positive to people’s lives, make them dance and sing and have a great time.
Mentally I always saw this as something I got to do ever since watching Skrillex your videos around South America, Mothership Tour etc. I always felt being a DJ is something unique and is a wholehearted feeling. There’s one thing that’s changed which is that now I know anyone can DJ but it takes lots of preparation to be a great one.
