Now that we're in the final stretch of 2018, we know our calendars are going to be packed to the brim with parties and festivals. To help you cut through all the clutter of all the major parties happening around Asia, us here at Asia DJ Mag has listed down the top 7 events you should definitely be attending before 2019 wakes us up from our 3 month long bender.


 

Urbanscapes 2018

7. Urbanscapes

Headliners: Khalid, Wolf Alice, Bodega, Se So Neon, Phum Viphurit, Midnight Fusic, Bil Musa


One of the most prolific art events you can find in the South East Asian region. Marrying a beautiful combination of visual art, music and good old fashioned passion, Urbanscapes is a must attend if you're in the region.


Besides large names such as Khalid and Wolf Alice, Urbanscapes will also be showcasing many regional acts such as Phum Viphurit from Thailand and Se So Neon from Korea.

Zoukout 2018

6. ZoukOut


Headliners: Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Galantis, W&W


Singapore's longest running dance music festival is happening on December 1st this year bringing along EDM Veterans Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Galantis and W&W as their headliners for the year.


This festival has seen it's ups and downs in recent years but one thing you cannot deny is how spectacular each year has been in it's 18 years.


When & Where: 1 December 2018; Siloso Beach, Singapore


 



5. DJakarta Warehouse Project


Headliners: The Weeknd, DJ Snake, Major Lazer


Another staple for the South-East Asian region, DJakarta Warehouse Project celebrates it's 10th year Anniversary with a wide array of headliners from pop sensation The Weeknd, to Grammy-Nominated Artist DJ Snake.


This is definitely a party not to be missed!

4. 808 Festival


Headliners: Armin Van Buuren, Skrillex, Vini Vici, Rezz, Troyboi


Back for the 6th installment this 2018, 808 festival features ASOT(A State of Trance) 850 by trance titan Armin Van Buuren along with acts such as Vini Vici & NWYR. Not forgetting bass-heavy acts such as Skrillex, Troyboi and Rezz.

Wonderfruit 2018

3. Wonderfruit Festival


Headliners: Bobby Pleasure, Toshio Matsuura, Soley, Costlywood


Another major festival that marries art with music, Wonderfruit Festival is held in the heart of Thailand's beautiful landscape that allows you to be one with nature. Featuring a very diverse lineup, Wonderfruit festival is definitely something you have to experience!


When & Where: 13 - 16 December 2018, The Fields at Siam Country Club, Pattaya, Thailand


 



2. Creamfields


Headliners: Diplo, RL Grime, Alesso, Martin Garrix


Hailed as the largest festival in hong kong, Creamfields is back for the 2nd time in asia featuring huge names such as Diplo, Martin Garrix, RL Grime and Alesso. This star studded lineup is not to be missed if you're around the region!

Sunburn 2018

1. Sunburn Festival


Headliners (2017): Martin Garrix, Clean Bandit, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nucleya


Held in Pune, the Sunburn Festival is said to be one of the best dance music festivals in the region. With huge acts such as Martin Garrix and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, the Sunburn Festival is a definite way to end your 2018 with a bang!
