In this digital age where music is so cluttered, some gems just shine so bright among the lot that we couldn't help noticing them, we at Asia DJ Mag handpicked the top 6 up and coming electronic artists that you probably haven't heard of but should definitely listen to!


 


6. Jasmine Sokko



Since her debut in 2016, Singapore born Singer/Songwriter Jasmine sokko has started making waves in the singapore music scene with frequent airplays of her tracks on Singapore's popular radio station 98.7FM as well as topping charts across Spotify's viral charts. In a short period after her debut, she has performed at Ultra Music Festival Singapore 2017 as well as the opening act for The Chainsmokers during their Singapore tour in 2018. 5. Sonia Calico



Taiwan's very own underground DJ/Producer Sonia Calico, spots a very Experimental approach to her music production which doesn't adhere to the mainstream sounds of dance music. This is apparent in both of her EP "Fake Jewelry" released in 2017 and "Desert Trance" which was release earlier this year during June. Her natural flair and unique taste in music earned her a spot in Asia's first boiler room event held in Taipei during 2016!

4. Cocoonics



20 year old hong kong based DJ/producer Cocoonics, walks the music path that every bedroom DJ and producer have ever dreamed of, armed with her signature Roland-SP404, what initially started out as a school showcase turned viral which eventually led to her being signed under Shanghai based record label: Eating Music. Having already played for Sonar Music Festival, she's on the line up for this year's Clockenflap Music Festival as well.

3. The Nod



South Korea based DJ/Producer The Nod is no doubt one of the top Korean EDM artists in Korea right now, Signed to Sony Music Korea and have performed at major music festivals such as Ultra Music Festival Taiwan, The Nod has also produced numerous catchy remixes of the likes of Calvin Harris, Charlie Puth, Major Lazer and more.



 


2. Tsunano



Based in Shanghai, DJ/producer Tsunano is one of the up and coming stars of Asia, sharing stages with iconic acts such as Skrillex, Troyboi and many more. With track releases under the barong family record label and has produced for numerous renowned china artists, Tsunano shows no signs of stopping!

A hidden gem from the land of the rising sun, DJ/Producer Masayoshi iimori has established himself as one of the most talented up and coming electronic artists in japan. Besides playing huge stages such as Ultra Music Festival Japan, Masayoshi iimori has also produced multiple bangers that is released from several notable record labels such as Trekkie Trax, Fools Gold and Barong family. His latest single "Flow" was released from DJ snake's new record label Premiere Classe, Be sure to check it out!
